    ​The "Contractors Authority" Academy aims to train competencies in various disciplines of the contracting sector

    Asharqia Chamber, represented by the Contracting Committee, organized the expanded meeting for the contracting sector, in which it hosted several officials and specialists in the sector, on the evening of Sunday, October 31, 2021, at the Chamber's headquarters.
    Eng. Zakaria Al-Abdulqader, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Contractors Authority, said that the authority cooperates with all parties to overcome the challenges facing the sector and its affiliates, noting that the authority, through its academy, aims to train a large group of competencies in the various disciplines of the contracting sector, in coordination with the Fund Human resource development "Hadaf".
    Al-Abdulkader explained that the contracting sector receives great attention from officials, as the voluntary committees form the first interest in discussing and studying the challenges facing the sector, and then discussing them with the sector’s employees to submit them to the officials to take the appropriate decisions for them, to address the situation of the contracting sector and develop it until it can fulfill its roles following the Kingdom's 2030 vision.
    For t​​​his part, Hamad Al-Hammad, Chairman of the National Contractors Committee, member of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber, and Chairman of the Contracting Committee, said during the meeting, which was moderated by a member of the Chamber’s Youth Business Council Muhammad Al-Mohammadi, that the expanded meeting for the contracting sector comes within the activities of the committee and aims to meet the sector’s employees and workers to talk about its achievements and also Presenting ideas and initiatives that would develop the working mechanism in it and help it to continue its work and search for everything new that serves the sector and helps officials in making decisions that are in the interest of the country first and the sector second.
    Al-Hammad stressed that the committee intersects with the authority in many tasks under one goal, which is to serve the contracting sector, pointing to several coordinations carried out by the committee with many specialized departments to deliver the voice in a realistic language that reveals what the sector needs to develop its tools.
    The Director of the Human Resources Development Fund in the Eastern Province, "Hadaf" Abdulaziz Al-Youssef, participated in this meeting.​
